Why We Must Remember?
Why I chose to write a book on History, Race, Class, Faith, and Belonging
I cannot believe I am 45 days away from launching my third book into the world.
When launching a book, it can be hard to convey to potential readers why you wrote the words they might encounter on the book’s pages.
That’s why I wanted to take a moment and share a video explaining why I wrote my forthcoming book, “All God’s Children.”
This book is deeply personal, containing stories of pain and personal experiences from my grandparents and scholarly research.
The words on the pages are close to my heart.
If you’re curious about why I wrote this book, I’ve included a video in today’s Substack where I discuss my writing journey and what this book means to me.1
I hope “All God’s Children” will inspire readers to understand the history and move towards a more unified and solidarity-driven way of showing up in the world.
Consider preordering “All God’s Children.”
Some of you have joined my early reader team, and this message is especially for you.
I just love the book and can't wait to share my thoughts with others. Love how you weave your personal experiences with other relevant events and research. I think that is your best work so far. Thanks for taking the initiative to write this and share it with the world.
Thank you. I did receive the book this weekend and need to carve some time into my schedule to read. I appreciated what you said in the video. Thanks for sharing what you did.
